The following is the brewing method for Single Fir Tea (Wuyi Rock Tea):
1:Prepare Tools and Tea Leaves
Prepare a clean zisha pot, glass teapot or teacup.
Choose the right amount of single fir tea leaves, generally it is recommended to use 3-5 grams of tea leaves per 100ml of water.
2:Preheat the utensils
Before brewing, preheat the teapot or teacup with boiling water to keep the brewing temperature stable.
3:Brewing Steps
Place the tea leaves of the Shanzhi tea into the preheated pot.
Use hot water around 95°C to brew the tea, this helps to release the aroma of the tea leaves.
Allow the first steeping time of 30 seconds to 1 minute for the tea leaves to initially unfold and become fragrant.
Gradually increase the steeping time by about 15-30 seconds for each subsequent brew to achieve the desired strength and flavour.
4:Taste and Enjoy
The tea broth is usually golden yellow in colour, with a distinctive rocky, floral and fruity aroma.
Take a small sip to enjoy the sweetness and long-lasting flavour and experience its unique rock tea taste.
5:Multiple Brewing
Single Fir tea is suitable for multiple brewing, as the number of times of brewing increases, the taste and flavour of the tea will change, you can adjust the brewing time and the amount of tea according to your personal taste.
