Here is how to brew osmanthus tea:
1: Prepare tools and ingredients
Prepare a clean glass teapot or teacup.
Prepare dried osmanthus flowers and a pinch of green tea leaves (optional).
2: Brewing Steps
If using green tea leaves, first put a small amount of green tea leaves into the glass teapot.
Place an appropriate amount of dried cinnamon flowers into the teapot or teacup.
Brew the osmanthus flowers in warm water around 85°C. Avoid using water that is too hot as it may affect the flavour of the tea.
Allow the first steeping time of 1-2 minutes for the osmanthus flowers to fully unfold and release their aroma.
If you are not using green tea leaves, just brew the osmanthus directly in hot water.
3: Taste and Enjoy
The brewed osmanthus tea broth should be a clear orange-yellow colour with a strong osmanthus aroma and sweet taste.
Take a small sip to savour the fresh, fragrant taste and aroma.
4: Multiple brewing
Osmanthus tea can be brewed several times according to your personal taste, so that you can experience a different aroma and taste each time you brew it. Adjust the brewing time and the amount of osmanthus flowers to achieve the desired taste.
